Planmoor

Switch in one step

Bring your projects with you

Planmoor reads the export files every major tool produces and rebuilds the project for you. No migration service, no spreadsheet mapping marathon, no minimum term.

14-day free Pro trial, no card needed. Clients are always free.

Tools Planmoor imports from

  • Asana
  • Trello
  • monday.com
  • Jira
  • ProjectManager.com
  • MS Project
  • Excel

Asana, Trello, monday.com, Jira and ProjectManager.com each have a dedicated importer that understands that tool's layout. MS Project XML and any Excel or CSV sheet with a title column are also accepted, with a column mapper for the rest.

How importing works

  1. 1

    Export from the other tool

Each guide below shows the menu path. It is a CSV, Excel, JSON or XML file depending on the tool.
  2. 2

    Upload it to Planmoor

Open Import a project from the dashboard. Planmoor detects which tool the file came from by its filename and headers.
  3. 3

    Check the preview

You see how many phases, tasks, subtasks and dependencies were found, and which assignees match people already in your workspace.
  4. 4

    Create the project

Choose whether sections become phases, whether completed items are marked done, and whether to invite unmatched assignees. Then create.

What comes across

  • Sections, lists, groups or epics become phases
  • Tasks with start and finish dates, status and progress
  • Subtasks and checklist items nested under their parent
  • Dependencies, where the source tool exports them
  • Assignees, matched by email to people in your workspace
  • Tags and labels

Comments, attachments and custom automations do not come across; no tool exports them cleanly. The Gantt chart and critical path are computed as soon as the project is created.
